Diddy and More Pay Homage To The Late Craig Mack

The News of Mack’s passing was a shock to many. The former Bad Boy rapper passed away earlier this morning (March 13). Many flocked to Twitter and Instagram to share their condolences and genuine appreciation of Mack’s artistry. Shortly after News broke that Craig Mack passed away at age 46, Diddy took to Instagram to share a few heartfelt words.

“Craig Mack, you were the first artist to release music on Bad Boy and gave us our first hit.” He wrote, “You always followed your heart and you had an energy that was out of this world. You believed in me and you believed in Bad Boy. I will never forget what you did for hip-hop.”

Mack was best known for “Flava in Ya Ear (Remix)” which was the first hit record for Diddy’s Bad Boy Records. The record features an early Notorious B.I.G., Busta Rhymes, LL Cool J, and Rampage.
